The Kansas Street Apartments project involved the removal of two fourplex homes and their associated site improvements, followed by the construction of a privately funded, twenty-two unit apartment structure. The new building, which was a private housing project, had four stories and included "very low income" units amounting to 9% of the base allowable density. The first floor of the building was dedicated to on-grade parking, accessible via an alley. Additionally, retaining walls and fences were erected as part of the site improvements.
